Courtney is a founder and partner of Driscoll Law Group. She comes to Driscoll Law Group with a unique perspective on personal injury litigation. For the first seven years of her practice, she primarily defended trucking and construction companies in various aspects of litigation, including personal injury and contract disputes. Courtney managed all aspects of complex trucking and construction cases from investigation to litigation to appeals. She has successfully represented clients in winning multiple cases at summary judgment, but also resolved several cases just short of trial for her clients. She has expertise in handling subrogation claims, workers’ compensation liens, and coverage disputes, which allows Driscoll Law Group to appropriately advise its clients on all issues that may impact their individual cases. As a defense attorney for seven years, Courtney worked closely with insurance companies and knows how they value a claim. Such knowledge has brought considerable value to our clients’ cases.

Since joining Driscoll Law Group, Courtney’s acumen as a Plaintiff’s lawyer has demonstrated itself. Courtney was second chair in a medical malpractice case where the Plaintiff sustained permanent injury to his right hand after a failed rotator cuff surgery. After three weeks of trail, the jury returned a verdict of nearly 1 Million Dollars. Courtney assisted in the trial in every phase. Her attention to detail and brief writing helped secure a verdict on behalf of her client. Courtney has also had the following successes over the past two years:

  • $200,000 Settlement for a female bicyclist who sustained a head injury after being struck by a motor vehicle.
  • 1 Million Dollar Verdict against two doctors in a medical malpractice case leaving a man limited use of his right hand.
  • $675,000 Settlement for a family who was in a motor vehicle collision that sustained several fractures in McHenry County, Illinois
  • $175,000 Settlement for a Woman who was walking her dog and was struck by an individual backing out of his driveway.
  • 4.5 Million Dollar Settlement in a medical malpractice case.

Courtney handles every case with care. Her presence in the courtroom exudes confidence but also shrewdness.
