Laura Canulli

Laura Canulli is a proven trial lawyer at Driscoll Law Group who has dedicated her career to representing individuals and families harmed by the negligence of others. Since 2017, she has handled a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death matters, with particular depth in premises liability, automotive and trucking collisions, medical malpractice, and catastrophic injury litigation.

Laura has played an essential role in securing significant recoveries for her clients, including a $30.5 million settlement for the family of a 73-year-old man who was killed when he was struck by a falling object inside a large retailer, a $10.5 million settlement for the family of a 66-year-old woman killed while cycling after being struck by a municipal police vehicle, and a $4.9 million jury verdict on behalf of a rail yard worker injured in a train collision. These results reflect the thorough preparation and client-centered advocacy that define her practice.

Laura's peers have consistently recognized her, as she has been selected as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2021 — a distinction limited to just 2.5% of attorneys in the state. Starting in 2020, The National Trial Lawyers has named her to its Top 40 Under 40 list. In 2024, Leading Lawyers elevated her to its Leading Lawyer and Leading Women Lawyer designations, following three consecutive years as an Emerging Lawyer — a recognition reserved for fewer than 2% of Illinois attorneys age 40 or younger.

Throughout her career, Laura has resolved hundreds of cases on behalf of injured clients. Laura gained her foundation while in law school as a judicial extern to the Honorable Thomas M. Durkin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and as a licensed 711 law clerk with the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.

Laura earned her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School (now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law) in 2017.She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Seton Hall University in 2012, where she was a four-year member of the varsity softball team, a Big East Academic All-Star, and a Dean's List honoree.

Laura is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Chicago Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association of Illinois, and the Justinian Society of Lawyers. Since 2021, she has served as a Career Immersion Mentor through the Chicago Bar Association, guiding law students as they prepare for careers in litigation.

A native of Naperville, Illinois, Laura lives in Chicago with her husband.
